| VESA stands for the Video Electronics Standards Association, and the corporation ensures a number of relevant standards when it comes to the mounting hole pattern placement on the back of your Plasma or LCD TV.
The following summarizes VESA standard mounting hole patterns that are used today for smaller and medium flat panels:
- 50mm x 50mm
- 75mm x 75 mm
- 100mm x 100mm
For larger monitors or for smaller LCD screens, the VESA Standard hole-spacings include:
- 200mm x 100mm
- 200mm x 200mm
Finally, for Plasma and large LCD screens, the VESA hole spacings include:
- 400mm x 200mm
- 600mm x 400mm
- 800mm x 400mm
If you know that your hole-spacings are VESA standard, browse through our bracket listings and on the right hand side is a tick list to determine whether the bracket you like the look of is appropriate for your TV.
